Fire glaze shifts in the kiln — your phin's color will vary a little from the photos. No two are identical.

Broken on arrival? Free replacement. How To Brew With A Phin — 4 Steps
About 5 minutes. Makes one strong, small coffee — sip it hot, or pour over ice.
Warm & Spoon
Rinse the clay phin with hot water to warm it. Add 2–3 tbsp (about 20 g) of medium-coarse coffee, shake level, set the press on top. Condensed milk in the cup if you like it sweet.
Bloom
Pour in a splash of just-off-the-boil water — just enough to wet the grounds. Wait 30–45 seconds.
Drip
Fill to the top and cover with the lid. Let it drip for about 4–5 minutes. Too fast? Use a finer grind or press a little firmer next time.
Stir & Sip
Lift the phin onto its lid. Stir the milk up from the bottom. Drink it hot, or pour over ice for cà phê sữa đá.

All three make great coffee. Here's an honest look at where the clay phin fits.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you sell coffee?
No — we make the phin, the cups, and the tableware, not the coffee. Use any coffee you already love. Our free Phin Guide explains what grind and roast work best.
I've never used a phin. Is it hard?
No. If you can spoon coffee and pour water, you can use a phin. The brew card walks you through it, and your second cup will be better than your first once you find your favorite grind and ratio.
What coffee and grind should I use?
A medium-coarse grind — finer than that tends to clog, coarser drips too fast. Dark roasts are traditional for cà phê sữa đá, but any coffee works.
Why does my phin look different from the photos?
That's the fire glaze. Its color shifts with the heat and flame in the kiln, so every piece is slightly different. If yours arrives chipped or damaged, we'll replace it.
How do I clean and care for it?
Tap out the grounds and rinse with warm water; hand-washing is recommended. Let it dry fully before storing. Avoid sudden temperature shocks, like pouring boiling water into a phin straight from the freezer.
How fast is shipping?
Orders ship within 1–3 business days and usually arrive in 7–14 business days. Free U.S. shipping on orders over $59. See our shipping policy.
What if something arrives broken?
Email a photo and your order number to baouyentbu@gmail.com. We'll send a free replacement or a full refund — you don't need to send the broken piece back.
